It has been a long saga of frustration and annoyance working with Blaze simply to get a new fireplace frame ordered and installed. The first problem is that they never respond to messages of any sort, whether email, text or phone. Four or five times I was forced to physically drive to the shop and get in front of the sales manager just to get any kind of answer or schedule an appointment. We bought our fireplace there and it works fine. However, four years later, I needed to get my remote looked at since it no longer was controlling the fireplace or turning it on. I spent $355 for a maintenance visit. After cleaning the front glass, I was told the remote HAD TO BE REPLACED. Total cost would be another $600. At that price, on top the original service fee, I was motivated to do some more sleuthing on YouTube. I quickly found a video that gave me a fix that took literally 15 seconds to do. I don’t know how this place stays in business. They put so many obstacles in the way of making a purchase, and one hand doesn’t seem to know what the other hand is doing. After months of frustration and terrible customer service trying to complete a big purchase we took our business to a competitor and my only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner.
