I found Dr. Blatchford and her staff to be very professional. Additionally, they treated me with kindness and respect. Ideally it would have been better to have met them under different circumstances. But all and all a great experience.
I saw Dr Blatchford after being a patient of Dr. Thorsen who retired. After having two hemorrhoids banded (which did not work, no fault of hers), she didn’t really offer me any education and was kind of rough in her technique. But what I realized after seeing another physician was that even the exam table in her office did not allow a thorough exam. I was disappointed in her bedside manner, and sought a second opinion. 4th time Colonoscopy
Dr. Blatchford was great, she came to see me before and after Surgery. wonderful bed side manner.
I waited over a month to get in to see Dr. Blatchford and our entire visit lasted 5 minutes before she sent me on my way stating, “I will not touch you. And if you find a doctor that will then you will regret it.” She gave me no options besides to refer me to someone out in council bluffs. Her bedside manner was awful and she left me feeling hopeless. Unless you have a life threatening illness, I doubt she is the doctor for you. Helping women, or any human in discomfort without serious consequen
Dr Blatchford visited me in my room before the procedure, and throughout the process. She was extremely knowledgeable, has a wonderful bedside manner, and is efficient and caring. I highly recommend her as a doctor.
