Dr Harris was a wonderful doctor, but has permanently closed this practice in September, 2022 and passed away in Jan, 2023.
I went to 5 different therapists before meeting Dr. Harris, but none were quite like him. I feel like I actually gain something from my sessions with him and it has made a dramatic difference on my life. I'm glad he didn't just push pills on me when I had things to sort out in my life, because THAT would be ethically questionable.
He is attentive and listens. But after 3 years once a week at over $400 a session. You sometimes wonder why there are rich and poor in Waimea. Once moved to the mainland have found adequate free to very affordable doctors.
Excellent psychiatrist who was instrumental in helping me to release the past, and to effectively reduce/remove traumatic events using creative acting/primal/therapeutic techniques. I found his ideas to be invaluable. Nadine Lavi, Brooklyn, NY
The work I've done with Dr. Harris has been life saving for me. He has a unique way of tying personal spiritual development with psychological healing and growth. May not be for everyone that is looking for a doctor that will validate your pasts roll in your current state and prescribe some pharmaceuticals to numb the pain. Dr. Harris is effective if you are willing to put in the work on yourself. If that's you I highly recommend him.
