Dr. Fung Liu is the on call doctor this evening. I called at 9:30 and was supposed to get a call back within 30 minutes. I have made 4 calls and am waiting over 1 1/2 hours for a call back. The answering service tried her directly and got her answering machine. If I find out she has been physically incapacitated in some way I will retract this one star. Otherwise it stands and I will be making a formal complaint.
Dr Blanche Fung Liu and team performed a good colonoscopy on me. I was nervous and they calmed me down with reassurance. The procedure went well, she found some polyps and removed them, they were not cancerous. Dr. Fung Liu is very knowledgeable and informative. I reccomend her as a gastroenterologist.
Dr. Fung Liu SAVED me! Back in 2015, I was admitted to the hospital and the doctors wanted to remove my colon right then and there. An acquaintance of mine (part of the chron's & colitis foundation) referred me to her, and after extensive treatment and care, it is now 2026, I am in remission and I STILL HAVE MY COLON! I can't ever move out of New York, because I will never in my life see any doctor besides her! Truly intelligent, knowledgeable and extremely caring.
Doctor is good, but the old lady at the front desk is horrible! Unprofessional and rude. I will not go back to see her face again, she ruined my whole week. I feel bad for the Doctor to have her there.
