Impressive beginnings…disappointing finish. We chose Blanc to celebrate a birthday and were intrigued by the Michelin recommendation, the menu and the small, close European setting we’ve enjoyed n Europe, New York and San Francisco. We both chose the pre fixe menu and were quite impressed with the first and second courses. The third course was a disappointment on several levels. The duck was presented well and delicious. We had the special 3 course dinner. All very good, albeit heavy for French food. We finished our 1st course, 1/2 of our 2nd and took all of our 3rd home. We have enough for 2 more meals! We want to go back and just have the crispy duck entre.
