I came for a late lunch, solo. At about the same time they got swamped with some really big tables and a late afternoon rush. Every person their went way out of their way to make sure I was served well. Even the Brewer came over to help. The waitress was outstanding and bend over backwards to be sure I was served well. Atmosphere was great, service was fine. Distillery doesn’t currently have in house whiskey options. I had the brisket for supper and it was dry, chewy, and bland (2 hours before close if that makes a difference). I frequently enjoy smoked meats and this has to be some of the worst, if not the worst brisket I have ever had. I tried the wife’s ravioli and that was good.
I ordered the ravioli as I was quite hungry, and usually, pasta always fillls me up. Only 5 large ravioli on one plate for $35? i thought that was quite expensive for the return. It was very delicious but didn't even satisfy a little of my hunger and instead had to go to another restaurant rather then spend 70$ to fill my stomach here. Maybe some bread should be included in future plates? Or maybe move the the ravioli to the appetizer menu
4.5/5 Food was very good, but slightly overpriced. The service and atmosphere were fine, not bad but not exceptional.
The food is so amazing we came here twice during a short stay in Canmore. Everything is chef prepared with such unique flavour combinations. The beer was good too but the food was definitely the highlight!
