I've been a patient of Dr. Blake Hughes since 2009 and have been very satisfied. He's monitored and informed me about my changing vision needs. A very friendly, engaging, and professional eye doctor. The rest of the staff is first class as well. It's always nice to go through the process of examination, consultation, and choosing frames with such caring and savvy professionals. I saw Dr Blake Hughes’ dad for years, a very knowledgeable, compassionate, and excellent eye doctor. Saw Dr Blake Hughes for a routine check up after his dad retired. Went ok. Fast forward, went in Aug 2024 because I felt like my retina may be detaching. Described new floaters, black perfectly round like polka dots in my line of sight. Vision seemed cloudy more often than not, etc. Got the (now in retrospect) blowoff it was my age .. age related floaters, my cataract was growing, blah blah blah.. nothing to worry about. Our visit to Dr. Blake Hughes's office was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and friendly and Dr Hughes was incredibly friendly. I wish all doctors had this kind of approach to patient care.
