I've met a lot of other loan officers and Blake is on another level. He is always professional and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Perhaps most importantly, he's some you can trust to get the job done right and to get it done right away. I highly recommend him if you're looking to get a home loan.
Blake is a great lender. He listens to each clients situation and finds the best options available. He is excellent at communication, developing financial plans for clients to repair credit, he ALWAYS follows up, and is diligent about watching deadlines during the buying process. I recommend him often.
BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Blake is a scam artist of the highest degree. I am a single mother who's has worked tirelessly to purchase a home. Blake was recommended to me from a friend. Blake gave me a pre-approval letter, and the day before I lost my earnest money, he said "sorry, I can't help you". Basically I lost $275 for the inspection, and $2500 in earnest money. The buyers who were under contract to purchase our seller's home had not filed taxes in 7 years, somehow that fact did not come up between the buyer and lender until a week before our settlement date. The transaction fell apart at last minute because according to Mr. Arvidson he just assumed, rather than even asking the buyers, that "if they are American citizens they must file their taxes."
It's is so important to feel like you can trust your lender when you are buying a home. Blake is so upfront with people, you always know you are getting a straight answer with him! From start to finish, Blake is the best!
