This is the second time we have brought our vehicle to Blairs Transmission and I want to let people know how happy we are to recommend this mechanic. I noticed that there are reviews of this mechanic that are from Louisiana. There is another Blairs Automotive service in LA but this is not the same company. Needed help with our '99 GMC Jimmy transmission, and Ray came through for us again. He was able to rebuild it for us for a great price, quickly and with warranty. He's always willing to take on our tough problems, transmissions and engines. Excellent work Ray, thank you very much. We'll see you soon with our other cars.
Once again Blairs Transmission has been there for us! Our daughter was coming home late from housitting and she got a flat tire. She was unable to get the lug nuts off so I went to her aide, also tried but the lug caps were stripped and on so tight I couldn't get them off either. I swapped vehicles with her and called AAA who told me it would be 2 hours! Have used Blair's several time over the last 7 years. Great prices quick service and very easy to deal with. Recently used to tow my wife's car when it started overheating. No hassles at all. He was even willing to give me advice when I told him I was going to trouble shot the problem myself. Not pushy only does what needs to be done and informs you on what to look out for. Great service. Fortunately have never needed him for transmission work and hopefully I never will.
I have a 02 Cadillac deville. The infamous Northstar moter. Im also in Tennessee and this man came to my aid in middle Alabama after I broke doke down and I don't know what yall but ive never had a mechanic provide somewhere to lay my head rest up while my car was fixed. Also had me back on the road within 24 hours. And with all the problems my car had I was highly satisfied and highly recommend him to anybody in the southern states!! Thanks Ray you're a life saver!!!
