I am a taxidermist. A client of mine booked and paid in full for TWO Alaskan brown bear hunts with Blair Worldwide Hunting. 5 weeks prior to the hunt, the outfitter contacted him and said that Blair had not paid them for the hunt and they would not be able to hunt if it is not paid in full prior to the hunt. He had to pay AGAIN, this time directly to the outfitter (the hunts were approximately $26,000 each) in order for the hunts to be taken. Blair should be behind bars!! My guess is they will be soon! I understand businesses are following new regulations and doing their best to continue operations however, LYING to customers and saying that it is a misdemeanor to not wear a mask is absurd. There is no law, there are only guidelines and policies. Many people are unable to restrict their breathing and many people have medical exemptions. To be rejected and treated like scum for something a person cannot control is not right. This sucks for people that struggle to breathe. Ive booked two out of country hunts with Blair family in last four months. Both hunts were amazing, 100% successful and 100% what was described. Im working on a third with them now.
