I have been here twice now and was not disappointed either time. We visited with our 6 year old grandson and we all had the vegetable soup with lentils which was awesome. Best soup I have had in ages. I had a ham roll, very boring I know, and it was full of lovely ham. Grandson had a ham toasty which he ate all of. Its not friendly. You have to sit in the garden, which, isn't friendly on a rainy day.
Fabulous Soup and a gorgeous filled Tuna roll served by lovely staff.Who would fight through the crowds at Bruar for food if they knew this little gem was here!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
2026 Back again for another stay at the castle caravan site so a walk to the mill is always a favourite. Bit dreich outside so went in for a cosy cuppa and a scone. Lovely home bakes. 2025 Lovely cafe in an old mill...baked goods include croissants, cakes ,scones and bread. Great service...wooden seating is practical but not comfortable outside.dogs are allowed outside. Plenty of parking .
