They showed up once in the end of April after repeated calls, and haven’t returned since. Left several voicemails which went unanswered and an email which was similarly ignored. So we broke out the old mower and did it ourselves. To add insult (and illegality) to injury, we received a bill the next day in the mail for 2 mowings!!! We had used them last season without incident, but cannot work with this. As a contractor myself, I would never ignore a customer for a week. If there was an issue, I would at least communicate it.
I have been using Blades of Steele for over 17 years (2005). They mow, edge and use a blower. I also use them for mulching and leaf removal. A few months ago the owner emailed me to say that I had overpaid....it wasn't an overpayment but a small bonus to say thanks for all your hard work. They never miss a weekly mowing unless the weather causes a backup in their schedule which is the case with any lawn service provider Their work is excellent, prices are fair and staff is friendly.
