We had a blast ,they even transported our kayaks and dog,we took the 7 mile trip with multiple stops along the way .We stopped and had a refreshing dip in the cold spring that runs into blackwater river along the way

Nice refreshing clear water on a hot day. Plenty of sandbars to stop at and hangout at to get in the water and relax with your group or others. Talked to some good people out there whether they were camping, fishing or hanging out with friends. Ive floated and kayaked many rivers and the best part about this one is the soft sand rather than rocks. You can walk anywhere in or off the water barefoot.

Black Water Joe’s Canoes and Cabins offers a perfect mix of rustic charm and outdoor adventure. The canoe rental process was easy and efficient. The staff made sure we were set up with everything we needed, including life jackets, maps, and safety tips. The river was peaceful and scenic—great for both beginners and experienced paddlers.

We had the best time at Blackwater Joe’s! The staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The river was peaceful, the scenery was stunning, and everything was well organized. Our canoe trip was smooth and relaxing, and the cabin we stayed in afterward was clean, cozy, and tucked away in nature—exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend for a laid-back outdoor getaway!
