My husband's family have always used Blackstone's Funeral Home. Through the years attending services of friends and family I was always impressed with the attention to detail throughout the service, the care shown to the loved one's life we were celebrating and the beauty and upkeep of the facility. Absolutely horrible experience. We had an open casket and my beautiful mother looked NOTHING like herself. She hated red nails, yet she wears them in death. Her makeup was so unnatural. Losing her was absolutely devastating to me, and seeing her like that was even harder. Truly horrible.
