Absolutely worst place to go through!!! They called my grandpa because they forgot part of my grandma and he had to bring her box back so they can put in the rest of her remains. Then my grandpa on my other side passed away, and they gave his ashes to someone they didn't belong to. They are a MESS there. I wish there was a zero star rating because good God!! This all happened within the last couple weeks. They should be shut down!!
My husband's family have always used Blackstone's Funeral Home. Through the years attending services of friends and family I was always impressed with the attention to detail throughout the service, the care shown to the loved one's life we were celebrating and the beauty and upkeep of the facility. When my husband passed away after a long illness I truly appreciated all of that and more. Absolutely horrible experience. We had an open casket and my beautiful mother looked NOTHING like herself. She hated red nails, yet she wears them in death. Her makeup was so unnatural. Losing her was absolutely devastating to me, and seeing her like that was even harder. Truly horrible.
Every detail was anticipated and taken care of with competence, kindness and compassion. I cannot thank Blackstones enough.
