I am finally getting the care I have been seeking for years. I had the same primary care for 20 years and felt like I was not heard and never got to the root problem of my issues. I can honestly say that is quite opposite at this practice. I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Chece as my Dr. They all seem to be wonderful and caring and I have had more results & received excellent care in the short time I have been their patient. I appreciate everyone that works in that office.
After Anchor Medical suddenly closed its doors, I had to scramble to find a Primary Care Doctor for my family and me. I randomly selected Dr. John Chece at Blackstone Valley Medicine mainly because there was an ad in the Valley Breeze advertising “new patients welcome.” I feel as though I won the lottery in terms of procuring such an amazing doctor! I am a new patient and my first appointment went great. Doctor was great, personable, and took his time to talk and understand my medical history and any concerns, etc. Taking off two stars since so far for the second month in a row it has been difficult to get prescriptions filled on time. I've messaged the doctor directly 3 days before my refill was needed based on his recommendation and still the refill was never sent in.
