Unfortunately, I have to leave a 1-star review based on an experience that was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. A women on staff walked into a large group of people who were simply enjoying a wedding and began making rude and disrespectful comments toward a couple who were doing nothing more than standing together, having a drink, and minding their own business. Best bbq in town! The Mac and cheese is better than anywhere else.
I attended a wedding where Black’s Hill BBQ was catering. I was mortified as I heard the owner (Teresa Young) make comments to a guest that were completely unprofessional. Teresa took the time to walk up to two guests and call them extremely derogatory names (bad enough I can’t even type them out). To say Dave and Teresa were exceptional is an understatement. Absolutely every aspect of their service was amazing, from their communication to the food itself. My guests raved about the food, the ribs were literally melt in your mouth fall of the bone good. I didn’t get the opportunity to meet Dave personally (I was off having photos taken) but my helpers all said he was amazing, even my neighbour stopped by today to talk about Dave and how great he was.
