I do not recommend using Blackmon & Co. for any tax services. I’ve been dealing with Shaterra for months regarding an amendment to my tax return, and the experience has been completely frustrating and unprofessional. After initially contacting me, she promised to handle my amendment and provide paperwork “by tomorrow.” That was weeks ago. Demarcus filed my taxes for me and made me feel comfortable with the amount of knowledge he possessed. He showed professionalism and communication which are both highly valued. I strongly recommend his services.
I had a very disappointing experience with Blackmon & Co. Tax Company in Houston, TX. I worked with Demarcus, who was extremely unprofessional throughout the entire process. He rarely answered the phone or returned my calls, leaving me in the dark. What’s worse, he went ahead and filed my taxes without ever providing a quote or getting my consent. This lack of communication and disregard for basic professional standards is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for trustworthy tax services.
