Blackfriars is a really well run practice that, in my experience, always provides a good service using nice competent people.
I’ve had the privilege of being seen by Dr. B Farooq, and I must say—words fall short. His expertise, attention to detail, and standard of care have consistently gone above and beyond. This GP used to be the best, but with their constant pushing of using an online portal so someone might eventually get round to you rather then having a reception service is appalling for those needing attentive care. Coupled with the fact that only 1 receptionist actually cares for their phone manners and service whilst the rest are happy to fob you off and 'drop' the call on you, has been extremely evident the last 8 months that the practice are happy to mostly employ receptionists that can't be bothered.
