I showed up to the bottle depot at 457, thinking they were open until 6, not 5. Despite it being closing time and even stating I could come back another day during operating hours, I was welcomed inside with smiles on the staffs faces. They teamed up and stayed a few minutes late (I was out by 507). Big thanks to the Blackfalds staff; Mat, Del, Ram and Jonas. Never thought I would be compelled to write a review for a bottle depot but here we are. I’m not even from blackfalds and I come here because it’s so much easier, quicker, and better. I usually have a pretty big load of bottles when I come in and they always get it done quickly and seem to be better counters than some other places. Also the staff are all quite nice. Would recommend

Open Sunday, polite staff who know how to count. Edit: 3 years later , maybe 50 visits since and the service is probably even better. Jonas is amazing, his customer service is spectacular and it seems new employees and the younger staff actually try to impress him. New guy Matt is a champ, I actually look forward to the bottle depot….

Jonas was fantastic. This location now has an automatic bottle sorter. My 4yr old was fascinated by it, Jonas noticed this and explained/showed him how everything worked. We were in and out quick, and treated very kindly. Thanks again!
