We used backcomb snowmobiles for a dog sledding experience. The mushers and dogs were incredibly friendly so we had a great time. I'm knocking off a star because the site advertises some lecture/knowledge of dog sledding history which we didn't get. Also, if you're sledding by yourself you won't be able to try mushing, which this company is known for over other local competitors. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON ANIMALS TREATMENT !!
The ride was boring, and there was nothing memorable about the tour nothing like what we experienced in Switzerland. Even worse, the guide was rude and unfriendly, and at one point started yelling at us using F-words, which was shocking and completely unprofessional. Overall, not worth the money at all. Would not recommend.
I did the 2 hour snowmobile tour and enjoyed it (great guide, company, vehicles etc) but would say people should put some consideration into which option they pick or risk not having the best time. Sadly my experience could have been better but this wasn’t due to the company. Mine was a group tour with 6 snowmobiles plus the guide and the group had vastly different skills/ preferences which meant those of us that wanted more speed couldn’t really get it - you are restricted by the slowest in the group.
