Andy and JT arrived on time. Covered all our floors with throw rugs to avoid dust. The are very skilled and their assessment of our 3 fireplaces was life changing. We had a severe chimney fire at some point that burnt and cracked our flue and other fireplaces needed mortar repaired due to leaks from the caps on the roof. Absolutely misdiagnosed my chimney issue! I purchased a used house that had heavy ash smell, more intense whenever it rained. I read the reviews online and chose to pay Blackburns their higher price to clean and inspect my chimney expecting high quality service in return. They "cleaned" the chimney apparently without even opening the cleanout door which had over 100lbs of damp, moldy ash as found by the contractor I hired for a second opinion. I have never experienced such a cluster chimney sweep. She had face piercings and Im pretty sure some teeth missing & Im pretty sure she was high..... Really? This represents your company? I told her not to do the work and went with someone else.
