After being turned away from urgent care on Sunday, during a terrible chronic pain flare up. The staff at Blackburn clinic helped me so much, the communication was clear and open. I felt heard and understood, and was seen immediately. The receptionists were lovely, empathetic about my situation and were very accommodating.
The GP I have seen (Emma Fehmel) is great. However, I will no longer be attending this practice for two reasons: 1) My appointment to receive an iron infusion was cancelled as the clinic has not yet received my most recent blood test results. That is understandable. However, the GP who called to tell me this did not offer to reschedule, and instead said there was "no evidence of iron deficiency" (not true, I had an iron infusion at this same clinic two years ago) and that I had "jumped the line" when other people with "genui... read more
