Highly recommend Blackbird Psychology, particularly for folks who are neurodivergent and/or LGBTQIA+. They care so deeply about the wellbeing and growing environment of their clients and truly put in the time, energy and resources to make sure everyone is taken care of.
Jaime is incredible and any interaction with the admin at Blackbird has been so easy. They make me feel welcome, listened to and safe. I appreciate how they respect my preferred contact methods as well. I'm sure they are helpful for Neurotypical folks, but have found as an AuDHD individual it's so important to be able to talk to someone who gets it and is super neurodiverse affirming. Couldn't recommend Blackbird psychology more!!!
The best therapeutic experience I've had. Affordable, affirming care that I rave about to anyone looking for rec's. If you've had therapy before but it never quite landed, get ye a ND therapist who has actually studied how to help your brain, you won't regret it
I am pretty seriously on the spectrum, i'm going through some incredibly tough times. and i am glad to have found these guys. James is the first psychologist/therapist type i have seen who actually treats me like an adult, and understands the kind of situation i am in. If you're neurodivergent and also have a line of terrible experiences with therapy, try giving them a go, they aren't like the other guys.
