So my friend treated me to some butter tarts from here several weeks back. I haven't been able to get them off my mind since. I was able to make the trip here today and oh my WORD!!!! I picked up an apple and raspberry pie, and some of the double chocolate and sea salt cookies..... I was blown away! The pie was still warm and the cookies were phenomenal. The service was lovely, I can't wait to make the trip over again soon!
They have every kind of pie imaginable. Brought home a cherry pie lattice crust and a strawberry/rhubarb combo strudel top. Pastry is perfect! Will definitely return!
I have finally found the Blackbird Pie Company!! I never knew this little gem existed until a few weeks ago so Friday we decided to go for a drive and see what they had. The baked goods are amazing. We bought the double chocolate sea salt cookies, the pecan butter tarts, the macaroni and cheese (frozen - had that for dinner the other night, yum!) and we got a potato/rosemary/cheddar cheese soup (frozen) which we are having for lunch today.
