I’ve been going getting my hair done with Melissa at Black Bird for 8 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. She is professional, fun, and listens to what you want. I trust her and I always walk out feeling confident and beautiful.
As a busy mom , I lose myself sometimes. Taking a seat in Mel’s chair helped me remember who I am and gave me a well needed confidence boost. I went in looking like a hot mess and left looking and feeling amazing. Throw in compliments from the husband and I was walking on air. I still had to cook dinner , but I looked good doing it.

Melissa is absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help me with my hair goals. My hair has become more vibrant, healthier, and softer since I started going to her earlier this year! Melissa takes her time with my color and cut, and has made the experience comfortable and easy. Hands down best salon experience I’ve had!
She cut me the most perfect bob ever, and helped me pick an amazing color after my struggles with hair loss and finally getting it healthy again
