Housed in one of the oldest buildings in the area, some people believe Blackbeard's to be haunted. If ghosts don't appeal to you, come for the mini-Rock 'n Roll museum housed within the restaurant. Used to come here all the time and loved it. Lately it has not been such a good time. Every time it's taken longer and longer. They have taken some good things off their menu. Sitting here right now. Ordered what is listed as shrimp stuffed jalapenos what came back was 5 small butterfly shrimp with some cheese and small diced pieces of jalapenos battered n fried. Portions are small, prices big. This is one of only two restaurants on CC beach worth spending money on. The seafood is fresh, the service good, the atmosphere is beachy. MUCH better than "The Pier" and the prices are average for tourist seafood.
YUMM!!!! Family Tradition... for the last 12 years :) – Me and my family have gone here everytime we make a trip to the coast. It's kinda like a tradition to always visit Blackbeards. The food is great and the prices are not outragous. I HIGHLY recommend this resturaunt!! I have had the burrito's , salads and so much more!! The onion rings are fantastic too!!! I am headin to the coast in a couple of weeks with my husband, mom, nephew and brother ...... this is a MUST stop on our way to the coast.
Oysters and Seafood We were here on business and Blackbeards is part of North beach. I had oysters on the half shell and was fully satified. I would recommend this restaurant for those in the area.
Good Place to eat I was just touring Corpus Christi and happened to stop here and eat. Food was great, very busy restaurant but service was very good. If you are local or just passing through I recommend it.
