Excellent company to work with. This is my third time outfitting with them, and I have nothing but high praise for them. They are very flexible and understanding as trip logistics shift around. For example, this time we forgot to put some coolers in my car at boundary creek. Not only were they happy to return to boundary creek and pick up the coolers, but they kept them inside in the AC, and even added ice!

Great experience with Blackadar after our recent Middle Fork trip. The gear and the team continue to be among the BEST in the business. They carry top quality Avon Adventurers with a full set up, very good condition, on time and on point. This is probably my 5th rental and every year it is a pleasure. We used Blackadar to outfit our Middle Fork trip and they were fantastic. They were super responsive to questions, the gear was excellent, and the logistics support could not have been better.
Blackadar Boating were awesome for our Main Salmon trip this year! We rented two rafts and some additional equipment for seven days as well as used their shuttle service. One of our cars got a flat tire at the put-in and they trailered it out and went above and beyond to get the tire replaced while we were on the river. One of our paddlers also left a bag at the put-in and they had it waiting for us at the take out! So friendly and nice, and made great recommendations for campsites and were so flexible and easy to plan with!... read more
