Great cozy place to stay for a romantic getaway. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Would Definitely recommend it. The breakfast could be improved a bit. It was good but not amazing (example instead of American cheese slices, use real cheddar). Also sturgeon bay is jot the ideal location but it’s pretty good!

My husband and I came up to Door County for a quick over night getaway before our baby comes this fall and The Black Walnut was honestly perfect for us. We loved the location, our room was exactly as pictured and described. The contactless method of the Guesthouse was perfect for us too. We also really appreciated having our dietary restrictions accommodated so well. Would certainly come back and recommend to others!

I stayed in the Beach Cottage room back in January. This was our first stay ever in a bed and breakfast and everything was absolutely PERFECT! The check in was very easy. The breakfast was so good. The room was beautiful and the tub was very relaxing. Loved the fireplace and the private deck (although it was too cold to sit on, it was still very nice). It was very romantic, quiet, didn't hear any neighboring rooms, and overall very private. Our hosts did a superb job and we can't wait to return!

Black Walnut was a wonderful stay! Our room was cozy and welcoming. The breakfast was prompt and delicious with a good variety of options. We enjoyed the proximity to town and how easy it was to access. The atmosphere was so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!
