I took my wife and daughter on the Black Swan for an incredible Mother's Day present along with my 3 year old granddaughter. It doesn't matter if you are 3 or an adult, you will love it. 2 1/2 hours sailing on the historic canal and the crew is very accommodating. It's definitely one of the best values that you will have in the Hudson Valley.
Fantastic sailing with Karin and Rob on the Black Swan! Everything about Black Swan Sailing was amazing -- Karin talked me through all the logistics at the time of booking. She kept an eye on the weather for us, and let us know that if it rained or conditions looks questionable for a good sail, we could rebook or cancel at no charge. Fortunately for us, it was the perfect afternoon for a 2.5 hour sail - good winds and partly cloudy skies. A real mom & pop operation!!. I actually keep my sail boat at the same marina. Rob was not only hugely helpful in teaching me to sail, but is always available for questions an even recently got down into compartment and diagnosed and fixed by fuel pump. A true labor of love.
A great way to enjoy the Hudson River with great hosts!
