Very surprised. Don't know why. I may have had a preconceived notion about this company. My Fault. Forest the installer of my fireplace was terrific and understanding. They did extra work because some of my prep work (Framing) was off. No problem Forest and his Apprentice were perfect gentlemen and extremely accommodating. They were clean, Fast, and helpful. I have a gas fireplace purchased from Black Swan. It is the nicest gas fireplace set I have owned. Bonnie at Black Swan gave outstanding guidance and support - she was so knowledgeable, courteous and professional. When I wanted my unit checked and serviced I had the pleasure of having Chris Croteau come to our home. He was outstanding!!! Ordered replacement glass for my woodstove and had it professionally installed. The glass was snuggly fit and it cracked after the stove ran for a few hours and then cooled down and I got it running again. This company said that the installer made the glass too tight and they wouldn't refund my money. I ordered a 2nd piece and had a guy install the 2nd piece. Installed our fireplace and it has never worked correctly. They’ve been out to the house 3x and always promise to come back for a full inspection, which never happened. Now they won’t return my calls. They’re truly nice people, but they’re just giving me the run around. I’m having to pay out of pocket to have another company fix it.
