Extremely disappointed. My husband and I wanted to try a new restaurant and he is a bourbon drinking so we thought we would give Black Smoke Bourbon a try. We drove 40 minutes from Alden to go out for our wedding anniversary. We arrived at 8:30pm which I know is later than usual but we had things going on that night and when I looked the time up on their website it stated, closes at 11pm and kitchen closes at 10pm (which was also underlined). Douglas was a great bartender. Very knowledgeable and Made excellent cocktails.
Overpriced. Was served undercooked risotto.
I have stopped by for food and drinks in the past and enjoyed. Last night, my friends and I stopped by for a drink and I ordered an espresso martini. I watched the bartender free pour the cocktail, but didn’t think anything of it at first. The drink didn’t taste right, but they were a bit busy so I didn’t want to cause any issues.
