I visited while on vacation in St. Joseph to get my watch battery replaced. I dropped off the watch as he said it would take 30 min or longer. When I returned, I was told he had problems getting the back removed and now needed a replacement piece. Other than that, the minute hand now was free spinning (which was not the case previously). The employee assured me that he would fix the watch for me but needed to get a part from the manufacturer. DON’T DO IT. This guy bent the crown and destroyed the backplate on my Citizen watch. Ended up having to send it to Citizen repair in California. He was able to replace the battery on my Bulova ok and for a cheap price. But I wouldn’t take my more expensive pieces to him.
Highly recommended I visited multiple jewelry stores looking for a quality 14k gold pendant, Black Rose Jewelry was by far the best. Chip took the time to get to know me, for more than just a customer. We had a wonderful conversation about the military. His down-to-earth attitude was refreshing. This is a unique store with very unusual pieces, beautiful. The owner is wonderful, fixed a very sentimental watch for my elderly mom, and is very caring. Love this place
