Black River Retreat was exactly what we were looking for. My hubby and I wanted a couple of days to just relax and reconnect. This place checked all the boxes! Trevor provided excellent service and the food was amazing! We would definitely go back!

Went here for my honeymoon and my husband and I both loved it! Super private location with lots of activities to do with your favorite person Breakfasts and dinners were served at times of our choosing and were always on time, plated elaborately, and absolutely delicious We want to come back for our 5 year anniversary.

Absolutely wonderful experience! From the gorgeous forest setting, the private cedar hot tub, the amazing accommodations, the top notch gourmet meals, to the beautiful riverfront views, not a single detail is overlooked here. Trevor is a first class host! Highly recommend - 10/10!!!

This is a very unique and special experience. There are so many fine details making this an extraordinary getaway. The accommodations are amazing! The service is fantastic! The privacy, romance, and nature are a few of the things that make this a memorable experience. You will not be disappointed.
