Looks like a great place for cross country skiing in a northern hardwood forest and the snow really sticks here.
What an awesome hike. My friend and I spent a couple hours on the trail. Lots of toads the day we went (mid august) but that was fun. The overlook is neat with binoculars but otherwise its a little disappointing as the power lines defile the view and make a fair bit of noise. I would love to come back in the winter then the lodges for skiing and snowshoeing are open. Great trail system with plenty of choices for all abilities.
Absolutely love these cross country ski trails. Between Jackson Hill and Egypt Road, I put on over 17 miles skiing. Thank you to all those that maintain and groom these trails. They are awesome!
