Area residents formed the cooperative to provide low-cost reliable electric service to rural South Carolina. The cooperative established its headquarters in Sumter, S.C. I would like to thank the guys y’all sent down to help with Laura Disaster. I have Bob, Chris, Steve, and Darren on my prayer list. They were awesome and did so much to help. It thrilled this old heart when they showed up after 21 days of no power on our road to start raising the feeder lines again. Then on the 23 day they came raised all the down lines on our property and that late afternoon we had power. You have some wonderful people and their smiles are the best. Again Thank You !!
We went camping at Clearwater lake this weekend, and there was an outage. These guys gave up there Sunday evening to come help us get our power back on. They are true heroes! Thank you for giving up church and family time for all of us!! ❤️❤️
Poor customer service I've had an order in for two weeks to put electric at a house Engineer has already been there back in December it's already been paid for they tell me due to the covid They're only working every other day and my order has not been released how sad is this I pay this will be the seventh electric bill in my name every month poor customer service
Big shout out to the crew who came out on a late Friday afternoon to replace our utility pole after a work truck pulled it down. New pole and everything hooked up now. Power on and all is well. Thanks BRE coop.
The employees are Nice, Not rude …answer questions clearly…the linemen (or ?) do their their best to find problem area…once found the linemen are working to get it going again as quickly as possible… we sometimes Forget that the employees also have homes and families and want power on ASAP……they are the ones who Go Out to Repair the problem(s)…No matter Rain…Sleet…Snow……Freezing …3’ feet Snow They Are the Ones Out there while we sit Inside… Thank You BREC for doing your Best to keep us All Warm…Cool Comfortable!!! A strong wind blows thorough and the lines are so poorly maintained that power is out for thousands. I've spent the last hour calling to report an outage for my parents and the phone just continues to ring and then hang up! Dependable electricity my a$$
