Black River Acupuncture is very professional, from the minute you walk in till you walk out. Made me feel comfortable. Dr.Mans asked me a lot of questions to help treat me effectively. She was very personable and helpful, as well as made you feel comfortable and asked if there was anything else she could do to make it a comfortable experience (are you cold, or need lights turned down, etc) This was my first time having an appointment there, and I am going back to continue with the healing process.
I see Jesse to manage symptoms from long-haul COVID and she is phenomenal! Jesse listens intently at the start of each appointment, tailors the acupuncture to address my most pressing needs and treats accordingly! Sometimes adding on reflexology to boost results. Have had phenomenal results and highly recommend this practice and Jesse! In addition the remodeled suite is calm, relaxing and quiet to enhance outcomes 5️⃣🌟
Love this office! An avid runner, I made it through COVID and retained my lungs, but about a year later started feeling like jogging a block was a track workout, ugh. After treating with Dr. Middleton I have been able to resume running and just signed up for a half marathon in the fall! Highly recommend!
I've been able to work with both Dr. De Jonge and Dr. Middleton, and really appreciate their unique approaches. I've learned so much and see a difference in my health when I go regularly!
This office as a whole is excellent. I specifically see Dr. Middleton (previously Ozimek). She spends real time with her patients. Your initial visit is a full 90 minutes where you discuss your whole body and lifestyle; including past, etc. you’re then offered a treatment at that visit. She is an absolute pro at hitting a muscle trigger point to relieve pain and specifically for me - bad spasms. Mine come all around and in my shoulders.
