Our host was an amazingly talented woman whose energy and passion truly brought the experience to life. The tour was unforgettable, especially the inspiring story of how the Black Queen built this extraordinary home from the ground up. Her journey was not only powerful but deeply touching—we left feeling uplifted, inspired, and full of admiration. Truly a visit we’ll never forget.
Amazing house and a fantastic back story told by a very talented lady, Gale. Tour is only $10 and well worth it. The universe knew who to pass this house onto. They have lovingly looked after it and generously opened it up to the public for a limited time each year from Easter until the June long weekend. Do yourself a favour and visit if you're in LR in those months.
Absolutely stunning! On the car door tour just before the castle, you will encounter a house made out of bottles. There is another house like this, but trust me, this one is far superior. I was greeted instantly by a very nice and friendly woman who showed me the house while conveying the story of how the house came to be.
