Took the knife making class in Oakland recently and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get started in knife making, learning a new skill, or just taking part in a unique experience. The shop is well equipped and Dane is extremely knowledgeable on the subject.
Bladesmith class was awesome! Dane is a very optimistic teacher who gave tons of positive feedback for every aspect of blade forging and grinding, and scales attachment and shaping. Great experience.
Black Oak Wilderness is such an awesome and educational program. It's not only helpful to learning essential survival skills--it also helped me reconnect with nature! Highly recommend :)
