Honestly so disappointed with my experience at The Nugget Hotel. The service took forever, and to make it worse, they completely forgot our chippies. By the time we realised, we’d already been waiting way too long and just couldn’t be bothered dealing with it anymore. Staff didn’t seem attentive and there was no sense of urgency at all. Definitely not what you expect when you’re paying for a meal out. Wouldn’t rush back.

Food is exceptional. Painful to sit and eat sincr its so hot. Same with the bar side. Need to get some circulation through the place. AC seems to be working fine but is on low fan speed or not big enough for the area and amount of people in the bistro and bar. A few fans would help dramatically with air flow.

I stayed here because of work, but for the future I will be choosing anywhere else. The room has bare-bones amenities. They charge you $5 to use the dryer, they only give you a toaster, no plates and the only piece of cutlery was a spoon. So I ate toast, with a spoon to spread condiments and eaten off a tea-towel. Pathetic excuse for a room which basically forces you to buy all meals from the expensive restaurant. The service was semi-friendly, but even then they told me "we have wash/dryers, but I dont know exactly where".

Great place to have a lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and great service.
