Just experienced Black Market at a graduation party in Forest Lake! The food was incredible, the owner was engaging and pleasant to talk to. His helper was also very kind and approachable! Did I mention the food?..WOW!!!!

The food was good. The brisket was a little dry for my taste. The ribs were pretty good but needed flavor. I added a Bourbon sweet and spicy sauce, and it was delicious. The Bacon was also very good. The customer service was excellent. The lady was really nice. The music was really cool. I wanted to stay and eat there. Overall, it's probably the best BBQ place in the Twin Cities.

Some of the best bbq I’ve had in Minnesota, no question. I’ve only had a few beef ribs in my life, but I think this takes the cake as the best. Extremely flavorful, juicy, and comically fun to eat The ribs tasted good and they were cooked well. Nothing to write home about, but we will definitely order them again. The pork butt was so flavorful and obviously the cheapest of the meats - would make fantastic catering food for sandwiches My reason for a 4 rather than a 5 is due to the dryness of the brisket.
