If you’re looking to get your child’s ears pierced, this is the place to go. From the second we walked in, the staff were nothing but friendly, enthusiastic, and professional. Angelina was so thorough - walking not only me, but also my daughter, through every step of the process. The studio offered beautiful jewelry of the highest quality and was immaculately clean. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Maine is lucky to have Angelina and Black Maple

I went in to buy a new ring for my septum piercing, but I was disappointed by the experience. Instead of being shown any jewelry, the woman at the register immediately told me she wouldn’t sell me what I wanted for two reasons: 1) my piercing wasn’t healed enough. My piercing is only one month (4 weeks) old and not ready to changed, which I know since my piercer advised me of this. I’ve never left a Google review in my life but felt compelled to do so after my experience at Black Maple yesterday. I went in to get my philtrum pierced and Angelina was so great. She was incredibly knowledgeable, walked me through everything step by step, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. It’s so easy to feel intimidated in piercing shops, but Black Maple is always so warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks to get the jewelry downsized.
