Set your expectations. It's a dive bar. The toilets smell and the building looks the part of a hideout for gangsters 100 years ago. That said, the beer was delicious and the tacos from Bobby were even better. Plus it was a great view of the lake.
Really creative brews here! They had a pistachio white stout that was incredible, solid IPAs and a Thin Mint inspired stout that was delicious. There’s plenty of more traditional light beers if you’re not into flavors, but I love when brewers get creative and fun! Also it’s a cool historic building on the lake so I would imagine it’s really nice in the summer.
Love the atmosphere. It has such a wonderful dive bar feel and a lovely outdoor area yet to be explored. This was my first visit at the black lung chain. I went for karaoke. We had a 10/10 experience at Black Lung Brewery. From the moment we walked in, everything just felt right. They went out of their way to make kids meals specifically for our kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. They made them homemade chicken tenders that were incredible—nothing frozen, everything fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference.
