Lived in Lead, SD 10 years now. Black Hills Energy has never failed to keep the lights on. Outages are rare and have never been long here. Hardworking technicians have worked in my neighborhood to restore, raise and lowered power lines over buildings, due to wind damage, or to meet regulations. And replaced large heavy poles on steep hills and in close proximity to buildings without incident.
