This was a nice little stop. An additional plus was the fact that these folks are creationist instead of evolutionists. It's a breath of fresh air to visit a place and not be bombarded with hypothesis and theory as if it is fact.
This was such a fun little stop on our 5-week journey across the country. It only added about a half an hour to our route from Badlands NP to Mount Rushmore. It has a very mom-and-pop-shop feel, which is what we were looking for being out west - old-school authentic. It was such a nice change from the big commercial National Parks! It was fantastic.everyone should take the time to go
A memorable side trip on our South Dakota vacation. We found it to be a well preserved site worth the drive up from Rapid City. It ranks high on my list of things to see.
You don’t really know what you are getting into but the information is laid out nicely and explains petrification on a local and world level. We really enjoyed the tour. Takes about an hour or longer if you like.
