Our stay at the Alum @ The Cobblestone enhanced our trip to the Northern Black Hills immensely! Candace is an amazing host and incredibly helpful and kind! The location is within walking distance to great coffee and food options, and the summer fun of Downtown Friday Nights. At the end of days hiking and exploring the area, the Alum was a relaxing home away from home! We will be returning and look forward to experiencing some other Black Hills Experience properties! Thank you to all at Black Hills Experience!

Alum @ Cobblestone provides a quiet and home-like experience. Smooth and secure check-in and check-out process. Would definitely stay again. Freshly ground coffee was a pleasant and unexpected perk.
We had the opportunity to spend a couple of days in the Black Hills area at Beautiful Off-Grid Living @ Granny Flats. During our trip, the location was perfect for visiting Mt Rushmore, Deadwood, and many locations in and around Spearfish, including Blackbird Espresso (featured on the show) and Bridal Veil Falls. Spearfish is such a great little place and such a convenient small town. Nice, clean, and cozy place to stay in Spearfish. On the edge of downtown, so easy walking to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. We added this place to our return visit list.
