Came home to a power outage and when I called to get an estimate on the fix I was not given even a rough timeframe for a fix. 1 star for unreliability in terms of communication.
Customer support is very rude and argumentative.
The worst electric company I’ve ever had. I had a 1 bed 1 bath apartment. Bill was constantly $140, and I have the AC off most days. I have Black Hills Energy now, way better. I have a 2 bed 2 bath, and I pay $58 at Black Hills Electric. I would stay away from Black Hills Electric Coop at all costs.
Trying to get my electric set up. The lady I spoke to on the phone was either stoned to within an inch of her life or will make everyone with a room temperature IQ sound like a complete genius. The only thing she was capable of was wasting my time. I pity any and all Black Hills Co-op customers who have are forced to interact with such incompetence. But, bravo for monopolies - you don't get to choose your provider!
Customer service here is terrible and ladies at the phones know nothing about how to treat people with respect.
