Just spoke with Cheryl about an old fireplace we have and any option to fix it. Texted her some pics and her response was quick. Will use them in the future should we proceed with something new. I appreciate the good service.

I had an issue with my 14-year-old Majestic fireplace and called Black Cat Fireplace & Chimney for some advice. Even though they were not the company that originally installed my fireplace, the technician took the time to listen to what was happening and gave me a simple suggestion to try before spending money on a service call. This company doesn’t even want business, avoid I called after I was referred to them by another chimney company, who worked with them in the past and said they did similar projects. Rather than provide them business, I was stopped by the woman who answered the phone. She was rude, wouldn’t listen to what I needed to have done, and she stopped to correct me on the pronunciation of a name. What an obnoxious experience. I called this summer to book a chimney cleaning. We booked it, they cancelled before the cleaning. Never reschedule. Now I called to rebook and there are full for the 2025 season. Despite me telling them this, best they can do is add me if someone cancels. They are too busy for you and me. Call elsewhere.
