Initial reaction… met w an obnoxious hostess ( later learned it was the owner). Everything about the evening was 5 star…. Food, service, ambiance ⭐️….. owner should stay behind the scene if she can’t be pleasant.
The food at the original small Black Eyed Susans was 100% times better. I assume the chef left when the placed closed for a bit and it has now turned into a very mediocre italian restaurant. I was very disappointed this time around. I will not return unless the menu changes.
We sat outside and it was lovely!
Our new favorite restaurant in LBI and maybe even in general!!! Immediately we’re in love with the ambiance and “eat local” vibe, had amazing service, and enjoyed everything we ordered (which was a lot!) apps, salads, pizza, entree & dessert all of it was 10/10! Will be coming again!!!!
