Best small theater in Chicago.
Ms. Jackie Taylor and brother Rick Stone has been doing great things for our people for many many years. Cabrini-Green bred. A few years back I had the privilege to be in attendance to watch and listen to Rick doing his thing(God is a Black Man Named Ricky).

I have been to several productions at the BE Theater and not once disappointed. I often say as I am leaving, "I think that was the best one thus far." But Baby Bubba, let me tell you about "Ricky's Place." That was the "Best One." If you have the opportunity to see it, please go. If you have never ventured down to the Black Ensemble, this is the time to go! I love love love this place, and the shows B A B Y, THEY ARE THE BEST ! i saw A New Attitude a Tribute to Patti LaBelle and the Cast, WOW words can not explain how great they all were. And the wardrobe changes were EVERYTHING ! IHAD A WONDERFUL TIME ! I received a list of the upcoming events after the show and I definitely will be going again. There are a lot of great shows coming up.
