An absolute must see! History, love and life all in one.
Enjoyed "The Black Pearl: Josephine Baker"...2nd night preview. There are a few kinks to work out that would move Act II along, and the show wasn't as over-the-top as I expected in depiction of the legendary Josephine Baker. Otherwise it was a nice production.
I had a great experience at the Theater, from the parking to the ushers. The Theater was very nice, my seating was great. I had the pleasure of seeing the Josephine Baker story, and it was informative. The singing and dancing was inspiring. A must see.
Black Pearl-The Josephine Baker story was Phenomenal! The cast grabbed and held my attention from start to finish and the story line was accurate to a Tee! I recommend everyone to go see this production and to support the Black Ensemble Theater. A true GEM in today's times.
